Understand the NDIS
Age Requirement: You must be under 65 years old when you apply.
Residency: You need to be an Australian citizen, have a permanent visa, or hold a Protected Special Category visa.
Disability Requirement: You must have a permanent and significant disability that:
- Limits your ability to participate in daily activities or engage in the community.
- Requires support or help from others.
Early Intervention: For children under 6, eligibility may also depend on the need for early intervention to reduce future support needs or address developmental delays.
