Fiona Troung
Occupational Therapist
I am a dedicated Occupational Therapist with extensive experience across a variety of settings, including paediatrics and disability care. My practice is grounded in an evidence-based approach, ensuring that all treatments and interventions are tailored to provide the most effective outcomes. I work closely with my clients to understand their individual goals and needs, while also taking the time to listen to the concerns of their caregivers. By combining clinical expertise with a compassionate, client-centered approach, I strive to empower individuals to achieve their full potential.
What is your approach to treatment?
I strongly refer to the PEO Model (People, Environment and Occupation), when providing service. My approach is to be person centred whilst also recognising the current environment and occupation. I assist clients who have experienced an interruption in their ability getting back to their everyday lives such as work or school, brushing their teeth or taking the bus to the shops, whether through skill retraining and or prescription of assistive equipment.
